I love this quote!! I cannot remember where and when I’ve heard it, but i believe it summarizes the abstract nature of design :)

My name is Dimitrios Raptis and my story starts in Chalkis, Greece in 1980. After living for many years in Greece for school, studies and work, I moved to Aalborg, Denmark where I am currently a PhD Fellow at the Computer Science Department (Cassiopeia) and a proud member of the Socio+Interactive Design Group.

My main research interests are HCI, Context-aware computing, Interaction Design, User Experience and evaluation methods and techniques for mobile applications. My PhD is focused on understanding the notions of digital ecologies and ecosystems and produce some theoretical contribution to the field and also to adopt a more practical approach by delivering a set of design and evaluation guidelines.

I have a great interest in designing, developing and evaluating mobile applications that can enhance everyday activities, with special focus on the cultural heritage domain.
