Center for Data-Intensive Systems (http://daisy.aau.dk), Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark, has openings for postdoctoral fellowships. 

The objective of the positions is to carry out research on one or more of the following topics in machine learning, data management, and algorithms. 
- Time series analytics: with a focus on forecasting and surveying time series with spatio-temporal and hierarchical structures, e.g., in domains of traffic, energy, climate and environmental science, and exoskeleton;  
- Spatio-temporal data analytics: machine learning, especially deep learning and tranfer learning, on spatio-temporal data, e.g., GPS trajectories, speed camera data; 
- Graph algorithms: algorithms on large scale, dynamic and uncertain graphs;  


Requirements for Postdocs:
- PhD in computer science or a closely related field
- excellent scientific background and publication record 
- demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team
- excellent communication skills in English, oral as well as written
- good programming skills

Tasks:
- perform excellent scientific research
- publish in prestigious international conferences and journals
- develop research prototypes and conduct experiments
- contribute to funded research projects  

Employment:
The fellowships are available for up to 3 years (1 year initial employment plus 1 or 2 year extension based on mutual agreement). 
The annual salary is approximately DKK 450.000 (ca. EUR 60,000, inclusive of pension contributions and pre taxes). 
The fellowships are available from August 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
