Some Guiding Pictures

From Copenhagen Central St.:

The nearest train station "Sydhavn St" is reachable from  København H (the central station in Copenhagen). You can use S-train A (Direction "Solrød Strand st"), or S-train E(direction "Køge st") The trip takes 4 minutes plus 800 meter walk.

From Copenhagen Airport ("CPH Kastrup"):

The easiest method is to either

·         take S-train from the train station located in the basement of airport terminal 3 to Copenhagen Central Station ("København H") and switch there to S-train A (Direction "Solrød Strand st") or E (Direction "Køge st"),  stop at  "Sydhavn St", and walk 800 m (in total estimated to 32 minutes)

·         take  Metro 2  from the metro station located in the basement of airport terminal 3 to "Nørreport St", switch to S-train A or E, and stop at "Sydhavn St", and walk 800 m change  (total estimated time 40 minutes).

·         take taxi: 10 km, 10 mins (you are not passing through the city, so it should be feasible also in rush hour, but allow more time)

You can get details on the Danish journey planner (in English language).

Currency

Remember that the currency in Denmark is Danish kroner (DKK)!! Euro's may be accepted in larger shops (probably not in ticket and vending machines). Returns will in DKK Credit cards are accepted in most places (I don't know how ticket machines behaves with foreign credit cards, but probably they are accepted).

Hotels

You can stay around the meeting place, but this is also easily reachable from the many hotels are available in central Copenhagen around the central train station (see hotels.dk or google "Hotels near København H") , but you may also consider the  hotels in the area of the meeting place. Remark that hotels in Copenhagen (especially this time of the year) may not be cheap, and it may pay off look for a special deal or to book early from the hotel's website.
